Kasey Reichard is the founder of Second Haven Therapy, where she provides mental health support to individuals, couples, and families in North Carolina (in-person in Davidson), South Carolina and Virginia. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she specializes in perinatal mental health and couples therapy, offering essential support to parents during pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting.

Kasey works hard to create a safe, supportive space for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood changes, or the challenges of parenthood. She understands the importance of parental well-being and works to help clients build resilience, find ways to focus on self-care, and form healthy coping skills. With a background in child therapy, Kasey brings valuable insight into child development and behavior, which allows her to better support parents in strengthening their parenting practices and understanding their children’s needs. In addition to her work with parents, Kasey also supports teenagers and young adults, helping them navigate life transitions, identity exploration, and emotional challenges during these formative years.

Kasey incorporates holistic practices and collaborates with clients to find outside resources and referrals—such as support groups, medical providers, or wellness services—to support their overall mental health. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based methods, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. Kasey values a warm, collaborative relationship with her clients, helping them explore emotions, identify strengths, and grow.
