We are incredibly passionate about how our livestock is raised & harvested. It is of the utmost importance to us that all of our animals are happy and stress-free. We practice humane & ethical husbandry as well as harvest practices. Our poultry is pasture raised which means they are encouraged to scratch, peck and forage for their natural diet to their heart's content. Our heritage breed pork is raised in our dense, hundred-year-old hardwood forest which means they are encouraged to root and forage for their natural diet 24/7. Our grass-fed beef cattle graze on lush, diverse South Carolina pastures from sunup to sundown (although I have caught them sneaking a nighttime snack!). All of our animals are protected by our small pack of livestock guardian dogs. Everyone has access to clean fresh water 24 hours a day. We also offer free choice loose minerals to keep them healthy. These practices help us produce nutrient dense, delicious & healthy food for your table.
